Highrise: The Shared Contact Manager

So this is a follow-up post to the one I made quick after I received an email about the launch.  My initial thought, like I had mentioned was that the price chart was a bit steep.  But that was before I had played with the interface, and actually used it.  Of course now, I think that the application is worth its price, just by using the email to Highrise feature alone.  I’ve used that a couple of times today, and I think its amazing.  It allows you to share, collectively comment/note and archive important emails that might pertain to your company, your services, or support.

Highrise Launches!

Highrise, another 37Signals product, launches today!

I’ve created a free account already (Just got the email at 1:57PM Central time) and I’m still playing around with it.  At first glance (again without really playing/depending on it right now) the pricing structure seems pretty steep to me.  But we’ll see how this plays out.

Newer Design

So, I’ve begun the first phase of launching my long overdue design.  This is a more integrated, more my style type of design.  The previous one to this was mostly just experimentations.  I’ve spent a few months at the very least on the logo, layout, and design of this, and I’ve got the “front page” of the site integrated with wordpress.

Over the course of a week, I’ll be putting up more pages, and tweaking/formatting certain areas.  Most are still functional, just not so pretty yet.  So bare with me while I go through the last phase.

Diamondback Sorrento 2007

So, I just bought my first “real” bike today.  It marks the beginning of a hobby that I’ve always enjoyed, but have miserably neglected the past few years.  So far, the getting back into it experience has been pretty rough.  Imagine not doing any sort of exercise for years on end (at least 7 if not more) - and then all of a sudden riding an aggressive bike around town, off curbs, and tossing your body into a mid air craze.  Yeah, I like to ride aggressively you could say.  Within a few minutes of riding, I had almost fallen off trying to ride a wheelie.
